How to join

To become a member please come along to the club on a Saturday morning, we'll show you around the club and courses, give you a safety briefing and introduce you to some of the regular faces.

If you have an air gun, feel free to bring it along on your first visit and you can have a try at the any of the courses, plinking, bench rest or zeroing ranges. If you don’t yet have an air gun, most of the members will be more than happy to talk you through their own equipment to help give you an idea of what might suit you best.

NOTE your air gun must be UK legal and not required to be held on a Firearm Certificate. The legal muzzle-energy limit for air rifles is 12ft.lb and for pistols, 6ft.lb. You do not require any form of licence for sub legal-limit airguns. For rifles producing more than 12ft.lb, a Firearms Certificate (FAC) is required. Air pistols that produce more than 6ft.lb are prohibited.

Once accepted into the club there is a 3-month probationary period, after which time you will usually be granted full membership. You can review the club's full byelaws regarding membership here.

If you use a Pre Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air gun, the club has dive bottles from which you can top-up / refill your gun free of charge, you'll just need an A clamp and suitable hose, plus of course the connector to fit your gun.
